POSITION: David focuses on business and financial services, information technology, Internet, and restaurant companies.
INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY: “I really enjoy investing in focused, creative, visionary entrepreneurs. If we are going to ‘get in bed’ with someone, that person (or company) needs to have the highest ethics and the drive and determination to create world-class success.”
EXPERIENCE: Prior to establishing Liberty, David served as partner at Grant Thorton, an international accounting and consulting firm. He was the managing partner of AG Epstein Company, a Philadelphia-based accounting and consulting firm at the time of its merger with Grant Thorton in 1995. David serves on the boards of ExpertPlan, Inc., LAGOS, Inc., and Entertainment Services Unlimited, Ltd. He is an observer to the Board of XOsoft and is on the Board of Advisors to the Starr Restaurant organization. He previously served on the board of TicketsLive Corp. (now tickets.com).
EDUCATION: David is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a graduate of Temple University.
PERSONAL: David lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Corinne and Ari.
