Chief Financial Officer, Liberty Venture Partners

POSITION: Maria is responsible for all financial operations, human resources and administrative matters for Liberty and the funds it manages.  She also oversees the portfolio comany data analysis.


EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining Liberty Venture Partners, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Philadelphia Ventures Inc., a private venture capital firm with more than $100 million of committed capital under management.  At Philadelphia Ventures she directed financial reporting, accounting and administrative functions and served as the liaison for the firm's limited partners.

EDUCATION: Maria received a B.B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a Master's in taxation from Villanova University.  She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

PERSONAL: Maria lives in Voorhees, New Jersey, with her husband Marty.
