POSITION: Tom specializes in health care and telecommunications.

EXPERIENCE: Prior to founding Liberty Venture Partners, Tom was a partner at Philadelphia Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Tom currently sits on the boards of four portfolio companies: MEDecision, Inc.,Animas Corporation, ANI Pharmaceuticals and GCA Services, Inc.  Outside boards include the Visiting Nurse Association of Philadelphia and the Center for Autistic Children.

EDUCATION: He has his Master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy.  He has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A).

PERSONAL: Tom lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Jan, and their two children, Hank and Ellen.
